NexaNet Customer Equipment Agreement
Provider: New Born Consult Ltd, trading as NexaNet Internet Services ("NexaNet", "we", "us", "our").
Agreement version: 2026-09-06-v1
Effective date: September 6, 2026
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This Agreement is made between New Born Consult Ltd ("NexaNet") and the undersigned Customer, regarding the ownership, financing, and responsibility of Customer Premises Equipment ("CPE" — the antenna, router, and cable) used to deliver NexaNet's broadband internet service.
We are not responsible for the mounting pole or its installation.
1. Equipment Options
The Customer hereby selects one of the following equipment options. Fees applicable to each option are set out in Section 2.
1.1 Full Equipment Payment
- The Customer pays the full onboarding amount — covering the equipment, installation, and one free month on the NexaBasic plan — at NexaNet's prevailing rate at the time of purchase.
- The equipment becomes the sole property of the Customer immediately upon payment.
- The free NexaBasic month begins once NexaNet activates the connection following installation.
- NexaNet provides setup and installation. After activation, repairs, damage, or replacement of the equipment are the Customer's responsibility, except where covered by an applicable warranty.
1.2 Nexa Lease-to-Own
- The Customer pays an upfront amount — within the minimum and maximum range published by NexaNet — and repays the remaining balance in monthly instalments over an agreed period (“tenor”), at NexaNet's prevailing monthly rate.
- Interest is calculated on a reducing-balance basis. If an instalment is not paid in full when due, any unpaid interest may itself begin to attract interest until it is settled.
- Equipment remains the property of NexaNet until the full balance is paid.
- This option does not include the free NexaBasic onboarding bonus.
- While financing is active, the Customer's internet subscription must be paid from their NexaNet wallet.
- The Customer may make additional payments toward the outstanding balance at any time. On full early settlement, only the amount actually outstanding is payable — no further interest is charged for paying early. A partial extra payment will, at the Customer's election, either reduce the remaining monthly instalment or shorten the remaining repayment period.
- Full technical support is included for the duration of the financing period.
- If the Customer cancels service or defaults on payment, NexaNet may require the equipment to be returned in good condition or paid for in full.
1.3 Bring Your Own Device
- The Customer may supply their own compatible equipment, either in full or in part.
- Where the Customer does not supply all required components, NexaNet will supply the outstanding item(s) from its own inventory at NexaNet's prevailing price for each item.
- A required installation charge applies under this option, at NexaNet's prevailing rate, regardless of how much equipment the Customer supplies.
- This option does not include the free NexaBasic onboarding bonus.
- NexaNet bears no responsibility for the functionality, warranty, or ongoing maintenance of equipment supplied by the Customer.
- Any item supplied by NexaNet under this option becomes the sole property of the Customer upon payment, on the same basis as Option 1, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Pricing, Fees & Website Reference
All amounts referenced in this Agreement — including the onboarding amount, the upfront payment range, tenor, the monthly interest rate, installation charges, and individual component prices under Option 3 — are determined by NexaNet's prevailing rates as published on NexaNet's official website and/or confirmed directly by NexaNet staff at the time this Agreement is signed. No fixed amounts are quoted in this Agreement, as they are reviewed periodically to reflect equipment and market costs.
Once this Agreement is signed and the Customer's plan is set up, the specific amount, tenor, and rate confirmed to the Customer will remain fixed for that plan and will not be altered by any later change to NexaNet's published rates.
3. General Conditions
NexaNet reserves the right to inspect, update, or recover any equipment it owns if the terms of Option 2 are breached.
Equipment ownership status is reflected in NexaNet's billing and customer records.
Tampering with NexaNet-owned equipment, or theft of signal or service, is prohibited and may lead to service termination.
